September 10-12, 2010:
Osooyos Canada:  
Fun Weekend!  The annual ride up to Canada is expected to be an awesome event!  Great time with our Canadian friends.  Planned for a Saturday breakfast, day rides, evening raffle, no host dinner and lots of fun. 
Bring your swim suits!

 

September 12, 2010: Kennewick Police Department "Who Done it" Ride:  

At each stop along the way you’ll get clues about the crime.  At the end of the ride you decide who you think committed the  crime.  Those that solve the crime are entered to win the grand prize of  a Four Day Advanced Motorcycle Training Class from Motor Training 911, valued at $750 and a $500 Gift Certificate from Full Throttle Motorcycle Accessories.You can also take part in the Bug Run.  Purchase a Bug run sticker and see how many bugs hit your sticker.  The most hits on the sticker wins.

The ride starts at Full Throttle, 135 Vista Way, Kennewick, WA at 10:00 AM.  Check in begins at 9:00 AM and a Continental breakfast will be served. 

The 170 mile ride goes through McNary  Oregon, Touchet, Walla Walla, Waitsburg  Washington and Charbonneau Park before ending at Jack-son’s Sports Bar in Richland.  The BBQ will be fired up for your enjoyment.

September 18, 2010: Yakima PD-BKWA V Special Olympics Packwood Poker Run:   
Leave Owens Harley Davidson in Yakima WA at 0930 hours and return by 1630 hours. Cost is 25 dollars with lots of prizes offered.

September 19, 2010: Annual Miner's Burger Ride in Yakima:   
Annual Ride up to Miners to meet and greet with other Washington BK Chapters.  BKWAIII members will meet at the Conoco in Benton City (I-82 Ramp) and leave at 1000 hours.  We will take the side roads and arrive at Miners around noon.

   2009/2010 WA III Past Events


August 28, 2010 - Law Enforcement  Torch Run Campaign "Northwest Ride of Dreams" in Ellensburg (West Ellensburg/Rotary Park)
:  Statewide fund raising effort organized by local law enforcement agencies throughout the state to benefit Special Olympics Washington.  We had 18 bikes leave from Full Throttle, up SR 240 and rode through the "Canyon" to Ellensburg. The event drew lots of classic cars and many more motorcycles.  There were lots of vintage police cars, law enforcement vehicles and specialty equipment on hand to see.  A highlight was watching the Seattle Cossack's give a great performance.


August 21, 2010 - Bronze Bike Rally:  The Joseph Oregon  Rally.    The BK "early birds" had breakfast with Jerry Bickford and then the group met Sam Gayda at the Sun Mart in Burbank at 0800 hours.  Everyone has a great ride to the Rally, checked out vendors, lunch, saw some bikes, and had a "photo op" with a couple of locals (Ask Jerry!)

June 26, 2010 - Washtucna Ride:

We had about 10 bikes or so that left Connell at 8:20 AM as planned. Rick Kent  had his truck follow us with a load of cold water and  even a beer of two in there according to rumor.  We enjoyed checking out the many custom cars and hot rods, and the vender booths etc. Several members of the Spokane BK Chapter  rode in for a visit as did Bob Seelye from Cle Elum.

June 24, 2010 - Hogs and Dogs
:
at the Bombing Range Sports Complex in West Richland.   20 BKWAIII members meet at  the Coffee Bean in Richland and road to the
Hogs & Dogs event in West Richland. (link)

June 6-9, 2010 - Coast Ride:  Dennis Cummins, Pat Hogan, and Lee Barrow rode the three day ride from the TriCities to Grants Pass Oregon.  The ride went be through the red woods and along the Coast Highway.

APRIL 25, 2010: TriCities Ride for Rover!!-
  
Full Throttle   and Desert Thunder sponsored this annual poker run to benefit the Benton Franklin Humane Society. Poker Hand, Raffle Prizes and a 50/50 drawing were presented at the final that stop at Dairy Queen.   (Link)

APRIL 24, 2010 : Lewiston ID "Effies Burger" Ride - 
9 BKWAIII members braved the wind for our annual Ride to Lewiston and met with 3 Spokane Blue Knights Members and tackle the HUGE burgers at Effies.

APRIL 18, 2010  Pasco  American Legion Hall $6.00 Breakfast!!
 The Legion Riders Motor Cycle Chapter volunteers put on a heck of a breakfast. Four BKWA3 members showed up for great chow and a visit.  The ride afterward went down through Hat Rock State Park in Oregon and up through the back roads to Kennewick.

March 13, 2010  Heppner OR Ride:
BKWAIII members rode to watch the Heppner OR Saint Patricks Parade.
Met at Full Throttle with a departure time of 1000 hours.  Six members and Mr. Gerbing was along too!!  Great day for a ride!!  Wear some
green
for St. Patricks Day!!!!

January 30, 2010 Polar Plunge at Columbia Park:
BKWAIII members met at IHOP on Road 68 to have breakfast and then rode to Columbia Park Boat Ramp to support our very own Sheryl Gada who dove into the frigid waters of the Columbia River for this worthy cause of the Special Olympics.


January 1, 2010: Annual New Years Breakfast: The snow and ice kept all brave souls in their cars (cages).  The annual BKWAIII New Years Breakfast participants met at IHOP on Road 68 in Pasco, WA.  There were over 35 BKWAIII members and their spouses at the event! 

December 5, 2009: Hermiston Oregon Toy Ride:
 A cold ride to a worthy cause in Hermiston! Those who made the ride left Full Throttle at 0915 and had breakfast at Hales.  Then on to the Toy Ride to the Hermiston Hospital where there were over 100 motorcycle riders 


November 8, 2009: Irrigon Oregon dedication of a Veterans Memorial:
Lunch ride to Hermiston was a great ride with sunshine and no rain. A great day for a November ride. The few of us who made the ride were met by Tim and Paul on the Oregon side and then taken on a short backroad ride into Hermiston to Hales for lunch. Wow ! that place serves up some grub ! Each order had enough food for two people. We then rode to Irrigon for the dedication of a beautiful veterans memorial. There were about 25 Oregon Vets m/c club bikes there when we arrived as well as a good size gathering of people for the ceremony.


October 25, 2009: Toys for Tots Ride: TriCities annual charity event and ride sponsored by Desert Thunder.  It started at Flat Top Park in West Richland.  Social hour 1030 / Ride left at 1130 hours.  The ride ended at Full Throttle.   BK had 14 riders at this event!  There were and estimated 470 bikes rode during the event!!!   Link to Flyer

September 11-13, 2009: Osooyos Canada: Fun Weekend!  The annual ride up to Canada was a hit!  Three of our members attended; it was a successful get together with 62 people for the BBQ on Saturday.  There were Blue Knights from BC I, BC V, BC VII, WA I, WA II, WA III, WA IV, AB III, EDM METRO and ONT IV.

Sunday, September 13, 2009: Tri Cities Crime Stoppers "Who Done It" Ride: At each stop along the way, participants received clues about a "crime."  At the end of the ride, riders turned in their pick on who done it!  The 150 mile ride went through Benton City, Sunny Side and Toppenish ending at Jack-son's Bar in Richland where a  BBQ was be fired up for everyone's enjoyment. Link to PDF Flyer

July 4, 2009: 
Independance Day Parade in Pasco :
 BKWA III lead the classic cars and the parade!  It was an excellent event to celebrate the independence of our nation!

June 27, 2009: Washtucna Community Event and Car Show.  BKWAIII Members met with Rick Kent and rode from Connell.

June 25, 2009: Hogs and Dogs at the Bombing Range Sports Complex in West Richland.   The  Hogs & Dogs was a great local event at the West Richland Sports Complex..  Link to Site

June 19-21, 2009: Apple Core in Leavenworth Washington.  This was a big event the BKWA1 and BKWA2 members attend in June. They have an annual pilgrimage to Leavenworth for the weekend.

June 12-14, 2009: Hells Canyon Rally (Baker City). This was the 10th annual Hells Canyon Motorcycle Rally. Discover, as thousands have, the pristine riding areas that northeastern Oregon has to offer.  7 BKWAIII Members rode to the event!

May 22-24, 2009:  Blue Knights Boise Spud Run    Rodeway Inn-Boise 1115 North Curtis Rd, Boise ID  83706.  The unoffical gathering of Blue Knights and the appointed assistant of Doc Holiday a co-founder of the SPUD RUN.   

May 16, 2009 :Law Enforcement Memorial
Law enforcement agencies in the Tri-Cities met at Columbia Park to honor those who put their lives at risk for the safety of others. Several BK Members also attended as everyone remembered officers who lost their lives or were seriously injured in the line of duty. 

May 8, 2009: Kyle Petty Ride  The 15th anniversary 3,500-mile trek from the state of Washington to Greensboro, N.C. benefits Victory Junction and other children’s charities.  Link to Site

March 14, 2009: Heppner OR Ride - Met at Full Throttle with a departure time of 1000 hours.
Wore some green for St. Patricks Day!!!!

APRIL 5, 2009 (Sunday) : Lewiston ID "Effies Burger" Ride -  Our annual Ride was incredible!!  18 BKWAIII Members and 2 guests rode to Effies and tackled the famous burgers there. 6 Spokane Blue Knights Members also joined us at Effies.

APRIL 18, 2009: Yakima PD Red Robin "Tip-a-Cop Program"- From 1200-2200 hours, local officers served Red Robin Patrons and donations were accepted for the Special Olympics! 

APRIL 19, 2009: Tri-Cities Ride for Rover!!-   Full Throttle and Desert Thunder sponsored this poker run to benefit the Benton Franklin Humane Society.  We had several BKWAIII members participate!  Dairy Queen (on Gage) donated a sack lunch for all registered riders again this year!!  Raffle Prizes and a 50/50 drawing were presented at the final stop at Dairy Queen.  Link to PDF Flyer.

Sunday, May 3: Ellensburg Motorcycle Show-   The Yakima BKWA3 boys rode to Ellensburg for the Iron Horse Trail Motorcycle Show at the Red Horse Diner.  The show was a benefit for the Make A Wish Foundation.
